Position Title: E&I Technician

Primary Job Location: Georgetown, SC

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

  • Support the installation, maintenance, and improvement of automated control systems used in manufacturing and terminal operations.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues involving PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and related automation technologies.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and basic diagnostics to support reliable equipment and process performance.
  • Contribute to control system modifications and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Apply established engineering and maintenance practices while collaborating with team members to support day-to-day operations and project activities.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including JSA, LOTO, confined space, and PPE requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and control systems
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar preferred)
  • Experience with instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature) and calibration experience needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and loop diagrams
  • Solid understanding of industrial process control systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites within North Carolina and South Carolina, including some overnight stay, with South Carolina being the home site.

Work Environment

This role works in an industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to varying temperatures, heights, confined spaces, and areas requiring the use of personal protective equipment. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work, as well as periods of standing, climbing, and lifting as part of daily responsibilities. The primary location is in Georgetown, SC, and travel to other plant locations is expected.
