Job description

Electrical Engineer

Design. Develop. Deliver.

Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a role where you can work across the full product lifecycleโ€”not just sit behind a desk?

We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering business that designs and supports complex electrical and electronic systems for demanding industrial applications.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team where you'll contribute to everything from design and documentation through to testing, production support and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing electrical and electronic assemblies and producing schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Developing technical documentation, installation procedures and maintenance instructions
  • Supporting prototype builds, testing and product introduction
  • Troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems during production and field support
  • Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to deliver practical engineering solutions

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have experience with:

  • Electrical design and engineering documentation
  • Schematics, wiring diagrams and cable documentation
  • Electrical testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting
  • Technical writing and producing installation or maintenance procedures
  • Supporting manufacturing or engineering projects within a regulated industry

Experience within defence, marine, aerospace, industrial automation, manufacturing or energy would be advantageous, although candidates from other engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

What's On Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Interesting, technically varied engineering projects
  • Ongoing professional development and training
  • Collaborative team environment with genuine career progression
  • Occasional international travel for training and project support

If you're looking for a role where you can combine technical design with hands-on engineering support and work on projects that genuinely challenge you, we'd love to hear from you.
