Job Description

We’re seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer with strong project management capabilities to lead multidisciplinary teams, drive technical excellence, and foster lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams and manage budgets, schedules, and resources with precision and accountability.
  • Serve as Lead Engineer and/or Engineer of Record (EOR), providing technical leadership across design scopes.
  • Enhance operational efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes.
  • Participate in project interviews and represent the firm with professionalism and expertise.
  • Communicate design concepts clearly to clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement and quality service.
  • Present technical content to clients, internal staff, and at industry events.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development through training and guidance.
  • Play a key role in shaping and refining company standards and workflows.
  • Uphold and enforce the project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support project and company success.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 12 years of industry experience in building systems design.
  • Professional credential in discipline (e.g., PE, CPD, RCDD).
  • Proven leadership experience in engineering and project management roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects profitably and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in project billing, reporting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Solid understanding of financial and operational aspects of project delivery.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and design software including Revit and AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have experience within the MEP space.
  • Can work from any Washington office, including Seattle and Spokane.
  • Must be proficient in Revit and Electrical engineering.
