Job Summary

Hopkinsville Community College invites applications for our part-time Electrical Technology (Construction) adjunct faculty pool.
These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed when regular full-time faculty are not available due to increased enrollment, workload, or scheduling: days, evenings, weekends, and/or online.

Job Duties:

Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials for special studies. Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice in the particular area of instruction. Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment and progress. Maintains classroom order and discipline.

Minimum Qualifications:

Hold a valid Journeyman electrician license in the State of Kentucky and have three (3) years of experience as an electrician.

Minimum Qualifications:

Hold a valid Master electrician license in the State of Kentucky with at least four (4) years of experience as an electrician.  Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in a qualifying field. Qualifying fields include: Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Engineering Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
