Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer - Embedded Systems & PCB Design

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to design and develop advanced embedded control systems for industrial packaging equipment. This role focuses on PCB design, embedded hardware development, and equipment controls from concept through production release.
You will work on innovative electromechanical systems, contributing to next-generation industrial automation solutions in a highly collaborative engineering environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design embedded control systems for industrial equipment
  • Develop PCB designs using Altium Designer
  • Create electrical schematics and documentation
  • Design motor control, heater control, and industrial interfaces
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 79, UL, and CE standards
  • Support manufacturing, testing, and equipment commissioning
  • Work with cross-functional engineering teams

Qualifications
Required
  • PCB design experience
  • Altium Designer proficiency
  • Troubleshooting & root cause analysis
  • Equipment / industrial machine design
  • Microcontroller & microprocessor interfacing
  • Electrical schematic design experience

Preferred
  • NEC and NFPA 79 experience

Experience
