Position Overview:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. You will lead projects, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, proven experience in project management, and a passion for innovation.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including mixed signal analog and digital electronics through the entire process from concept, system design, schematic capture, layout, sample fabrication, testing, and release.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and safety of electrical systems and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales / marketing, mechanical engineers, software / firmware engineers, product designers, and production teams to integrate designs and features into products and product production lines.
  • Produce regulatory documentation and assist with regulatory submissions for products under development.
  • Design test & programming fixtures for new product releases.
  • Work collaboratively with junior engineers to provide technical guidance and mentorship, assisting in their professional development.
  • Provide technical guidance to consumer relations team when technical questions arise from the field.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on embedded systems circuit design, PCB layout, and manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading electrical engineering projects from concept to production.
  • Experience with high and low voltage analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with different wireless communication modules; cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as I2C and SPI, Serial, Ethernet etc.
  • Strong proficiency in PCB CAD software (e.g., Eagle, Altium Designer, KiCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
  • Experience operating lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and developing products to meet those requirements.
  • Self-driven and able to handle projects independently.
  • Experience in failure and root cause analysis.
  • Experience working in power management is a plus.
