Job Summary

3CON is hiring an Industrial Electrician to support electrical assembly and wiring of industrial machinery and production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on wiring industrial equipment, troubleshooting electrical systems, and installing machinery based on electrical schematics and build documentation often in collaboration with OEMs and Tier 1 Supplier like Ford, GM, Tesla, Mercedes and BMW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install electrical components PLCs, cameras, sensors, terminals, relays, contactors
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
  • Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting during equipment builds
  • Support machine installation, commissioning, and startup
  • Wire and assemble industrial electrical control panels and terminal boxes
  • Follow industrial electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing workspace
  • Travel up to 40% for installation and support is required

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of industrial or machine tool electrical experience, or 2+ maintenance electrician, control panel electrician, electrical technician or related electrical field
  • Skilled with electrical hand tools (crimpers, strippers, meters)
  • Specialty tools provided by 3Con, General tools supplied by employee
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed electrician
  • Experience with European electrical prints or standards
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Passport
