Nikkiso Expander Application Technology (NEAT) is filling a position for an summer electrical engineer intern.Â
This position is based at NEAT located in Irvine, CA.
- Support development of motor control systems, VFDs (variable frequency drives), and control panels
- Help review and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
- Assist in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems used in reciprocating pump units
Work with engineers to analyze pump performance data (pressure, flow, vibration, temperature)
- Assist in integrating sensors, instrumentation, and monitoring systems with reciprocating pump
- Help troubleshoot electrical faults, signal issues, and system malfunctions
- Collect and document test results and performance metrics
- Driven college students, or recent college graduates, with a major or degree in Electrical Engineering.

Physical Demands
