Engineer II: $80,000 - $92,000

Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Electrical Design Engineer in Greater Milwaukee, WI, you will:

  • Assist with wire harness design, component selection, routing, and system integration
  • Create, update, and maintain electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Work within a scrum/agile engineering environment, contributing to sprint planning, standups, and iterative design cycles
  • Support cross‑functional teams with design updates, documentation, and technical problem‑solving
  • Participate in on‑site engineering activities, equipment evaluations, customer discussions, and project execution
  • Travel to customer locations and/or work onsite to support project execution
  • Ensure designs meet safety, manufacturability, and compliance expectations
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
  • Contribute to projects that impact communities in Oak Creek, St. Francis, Franklin, Kenosha, and Racine, and the greater Milwaukee metro

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Electrical (schematics, panel layouts, routing, or similar)
  • Ability and willingness to travel based on project needs
  • Experience working in a scrum or agile engineering setting
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers and cross‑functional teams
  • Adaptable, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and within collaborative groups
