Job Summary

The Electrical Control Panel Wirer will work independently, under the direction of the lead, to wire the control panels according to the schematics.


Primary Job Duties:

  • Read and follow schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bill of materials to determine materials requirements and to build, assembly and wire the panel.
  • Fabricate or form parts using hand tools such as, wire cutters and crimpers, voltage testing, and calipers. 
  • Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
  • Communicate with lead, supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.
  • Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
  • Work in a safe manner while maintaining 6s.
