Job description

A small dynamic Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineering firm with headquarters in San Francisco and offices in Oakland and in Los Angeles is looking for dynamic and self motivated engineers and designers for the following positions. Our clients range from public agencies at local, state and government levels   as well as private sectors. Type of projects include but not limited to educational facilities(K-12, colleges and universities),residential multi family, industrial, especially transportation (rail, Airports, ports, etc.), hotel, high rise building, etc.
 
Plumbing/FP Engineer- This position requires minimum of 10 years plumbing design for variety of different types of projects as stated above. The person shall be well versed with the latest California and local plumbing codes, Cal Green , LEED requirements related to plbg, Title 24, and NFPA codes. He/she should be capable of plumbing calculations, design, layout and writing specification, attending meetings with clients and site investigation. The person should be able to review and provide QA/QC of other designer’s work, interpret their plans and specs and make comments. Provide inspection in the field and respond to subcontractor’s RFIs. A bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and working with Revit and Auto CAD and having Transportation Project Experience is a plus.
 
This is an immediate fulltime position that requires the person to work at the job site in LA Metropolitan area.
