Job description

For over 50 years, Mark One Electric has been a trusted name in electrical contracting—family-owned, built on integrity, and driven by craftsmanship. The company has evolved and diversified, providing an array of electrical construction services from Design/build and pre-construction to underground, data/comm and specialty systems.  Now, we’re looking for an experienced BIM Designer to bring their expertise and passion for digital design to our collaborative, close-knit team.


What You’ll Do

As a BIM Designer, you’ll play a critical role in transforming design concepts into detailed, buildable plans using cutting-edge software tools. You’ll collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and fellow designers to model, coordinate, and deliver electrical systems for commercial and industrial construction projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed electrical BIM models using Revit and Navisworks
  • Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings with other trades
  • Create detailed shop drawings, layout plans, and installation documentation
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure constructability and accuracy
  • Stay current with BIM best practices and construction technology trends


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling/design, preferably in electrical contracting
  • Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
