Job description

Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA has a position open and is looking for qualified candidates for an Electrical Engineer. The job location is the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD.

Scope: Provide electrical engineering analysis and support services for industrial operations and manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Industrial operations and manufacturing.
  • Review of schematics and controls drawings.
  • Performance and evaluation of equipment start up plans.
  • Review of facility designs for compliance with energetic requirements.
  • Designs, develops, and manage all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
  • May be responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in developing system descriptions and developing Technical Data Packages.
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in electrical engineering or electrical engineer technology.
  • Ability to obtain Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.
