Job description

Staffworks Group is seeking Maintenance Technician – Electrical Associates

Provide technical support in the areas of software and hardware as it applies to automation within a manufacturing environment.
2nd Shift

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the design, development, procurement, and launch of automation systems and automated equipment
  • Support continuous improvement of equipment controls, including modifications, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Support production operations with maintenance and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including (but not limited to) 3-axis CNC mills, conveyors, machine automation systems, and robotics
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues using structured diagnostic and repair methods
  • Work from mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications
  • Assist in sourcing and researching replacement parts as needed
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance inspections per work orders
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality documents, setup instructions, blueprints, and electrical schematics
  • Complete logs, charts, and documentation to communicate equipment status and maintenance activities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience or working knowledge in manufacturing process controls

Education Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Automated Manufacturing, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering Technology, or related field
    OR equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
