Are you mechanically inclined and passionate about ensuring the smooth operation of machinery? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining our donut manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our equipment, keeping our donut production running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze mechanical and electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.
  • Welding Skills: Utilize your welding skills, including Mig, Tig, and Stick welding, to repair and fabricate parts as needed.
  • Machining Expertise: Operate manual lathes, mills, and other equipment with precision to create custom parts, maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Equipment Repair: Take charge of repairing a variety of industrial food-processing equipment, including compressors, boilers, refrigeration/heating and cooling systems, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, material conveying systems, and packaging equipment.
  • Electrical Proficiency: Understand electrical components, read and interpret schematic drawings, and address electrical issues throughout the facility.
  • Safety Focus: Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety and food safety guidelines.

Requirements

Qualifications (Physical, Mental, Experience, Education):

  • Maintenance Expertise: Possess a minimum of three years of experience in maintenance, with a specialization in mechanical and electrical work on industrial equipment.
  • Self-Management: Demonstrate the ability to manage your time effectively, handling both planned projects and unexpected breakdowns.
  • Physical Resilience: Be physically capable of standing for extended periods (8 to 12 hours), lifting at least fifty (50) pounds, and maneuvering in confined spaces.
  • Attention to Detail: Have a keen eye for evaluating operations in various conditions, including low-light and tight quarters.
  • Adaptability: Be comfortable working in a range of temperatures and atmospheric conditions within our facility.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient in computer use, basic math, and problem-solving.
