Onsite Hours for production: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Position Summary
Responsible for assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and sustaining electrical systems within automated assembly equipment and advanced manufacturing platforms. This role supports low-voltage and high-voltage systems. This position operates in a Production environment and serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned work centers. Assemblers play a key role in the manufacturing process by connecting and securing parts to create finished products. They follow detailed work instructions, use tools and machinery to perform precise tasks and verify that components meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components parts into completed units according to blueprint specifications.
  • Support shipping and receiving, materials handler and engineering if needed.
  • Inspect parts and completed units using visual checks, fixtures, or test equipment.
  • Engage in improvement activities
  • Testing using high voltage
  • Assemble components with specialized tooling
  • Work alongside automated robots.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards
  • Complete the required production checklist, logs and documentation
  • Follow work instructions, drawings
  • Electrical/Mechanical Installation & Assembly
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, pack layouts, and engineering documentation.
    • Install and integrate wiring harnesses and control modules.
    • Perform routing, terminating, labeling, and verification of wiring using approved methods.
    • Perform precision alignment and torque-controlled fastening.
    • Install mechanical fasteners, bushings, bearings, gaskets, pneumatic components, and structural supports.
  • Troubleshooting & Escalation Support
    • Ability to fix electrical faults, alarms, interlock failures, communication issues, and automation system abnormalities on the line is required.
    • Be able to solve technical issues with robot and follow our escalation plan process during troubleshooting.
    • Must conduct meeting with Supervisor/Lead/engineers on findings of the issue to find a resolution.
  • Production Line Coverage
    • Maintain full operator-level proficiency in assigned equipment.
    • Operate production equipment as needed.
    • Ensure safe startup, shutdown, and operational execution in accordance with approved procedures.
    • Fast paces manufacturing assembly line completing 7-9 units a day.
    • Operate all production line work centers and become a master in each area.
    • Able to teach new hires in all work centers and meet team standards
    • Assembly workers will cross train in all lines and may be moved mid shift to help if needed in other work centers.
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Follow all high-voltage safety, LOTO, NFPA, arc-flash, and PPE requirements.
    • High voltage training preferred.
    • Support audit readiness, inspections, and compliance documentation.
    • Promote safe handling of energized systems.

Position Requirements
  • At least 3 - 6 years of electrical assembly or industrial automation experience.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and assembly process.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools, multimeters, torque drivers, and measurement equipment.
  • Knowledge of grounding, shielding, circuit protection, and safety systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical environment.
  • High paced assembly environment, experience working with quality and engineering.
  • Experience working on electrical components and low and high voltage is recommended.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an EV environment is highly desired.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Robotics certified or experience is preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial automation systems preferred.
  • Mandarin language is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with high-voltage safety protocols preferred.
  • Technical certification or vocational training in electrical systems is preferred.

Work Environment:
  • This position is based in a manufacturing assembly environment and may require standing, use of hand and power tools, and handling of components consistent with standard assembly operations.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work with hands for extended periods
    • Ability to lift and move materials up to established limits with or without assistance
    • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
