Diamond Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical in Garden City Idaho is looking for a Plumbing Service Apprentice eager to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade. You'll receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals while contributing to the quality and safety of every job site

After 90 days of employment and good standing with the company a net $3,000 sign on bonus will be rewarded to those candidates hired who have an active Journeyman License
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support licensed plumbers in installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Learn to safely and confidently operate professional drain cleaning equipment
  • Perform drain cleaning and hydro jetting services as needed
  • Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and efficiently in residential and commercial settings
  • Skilled in identifying, clearing and preventing common drain stoppages
  • Cut, measure, and fit piping and fixtures
  • Perform high-quality repairs, replacements, and upgrades on plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Troubleshoot water heaters, piping systems, valves, fixtures, and drainage systems
  • Understand plumbing codes and safety standards
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures
  • Attend required training and safety meetings
  • Perform physically demanding work throughout the day in a variety of weather conditions
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job notes in company software
  • Provide world class customer experience. Provide clear explanations of plumbing issues, repair options, and recommended solutions
