Election Manager information

What does an election manager do?

An Election Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of elections within a specific jurisdiction. Their duties include coordinating polling locations, managing staff and volunteers, ensuring compliance with election laws, and handling ballots and voting equipment. They also address any issues that arise on election day and work to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process. Effective communication and attention to detail are essential skills for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an election manager?

To thrive as an Election Manager, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of election laws and procedures, often supported by a degree in public administration or a related field.
