Work Schedule:

  • Work mandatory Saturdays: May 9, 2026 (10:00 a.m. โ€“ 3:00 p.m.) and June 6, 2026 (10:00 a.m. โ€“ 3:00 p.m.)
  • Work mandatory OT on Election Days: May 19, 2026 (5:30 a.m. โ€“ 10:30 p.m.) and June 16, 2026 (5:30 a.m. โ€“ 10:30 p.m.)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned ? 8:30 a.m. โ€“ 4:30 p.m.


Position Description:

  • The Administrative Support Associate provides clerical and administrative support to the Election Department.
  • This role assists with daily office operations and election-related activities, following established procedures and working under close supervision.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds Ability to work in warm or cold conditions for up to two hours per day during poll worker training periods (approximately three weeks; shifts rotated)

Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least six (6) months of clerical experience (answering phones, typing, filing)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Education Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and answering phones
  • Enter and maintain information using Excel, Word, and other electronic forms
  • Assist visitors and provide reception support
  • Help set up training rooms for poll worker training sessions
  • Assemble election day and training materials
  • Program electronic poll books
