Invasive/Interventional Cardiologist Opening - Abingdon, VAPosition Details

  • Full-time position with a stable and nationally recognized cardiovascular group
  • Outpatient clinic located in Abingdon, VA
  • Inpatient procedures performed at Johnston Memorial Hospital (116-bed facility with a state-of-the-art Cath Lab)
  • Join a local team that includes 1 Invasive Cardiologist, 2 Interventional Cardiologists, experienced NPs, and support staff
  • Shared coverage model with access to additional subspecialists across the multi-state network
  • State s only 24/7 regional STEMI transfer program with approx. 80 STEMIs/year
  • Dedicated On-Site CHF Clinic
  • Advanced cardiac technology including Philips Cath Lab with: Laser, Volcano, EKOS, CardioMEMS, Penumbra, IABP, Impella
  • JMH performs ~65 cardiac catheterizations monthly (40 diagnostic / 25 interventional)
