ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Louisiana.

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on a 12-bed EKG/Telemetry unit with EKG/Telemetry background preferred
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to all inpatient units
• Block scheduling not accommodated on this unit
• Use Alaris Pumps as special equipment
• BLS certification required, ACLS required for charge nurses
• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty
• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Louisiana Compact license or LA license required in hand upon submittal
• NURSYS reports required with profile (must be within 4 weeks of submission)
• AHA certifications required
• 2 Manager/Supervisor references required for clearance to start
• Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modules
• Must be aware of hurricane season emergency team assignment expectations from June 1 - November 30
• May be assigned to emergency team to stay at facility during storms or be part of relief team
• Accepts first-time travelers and those with less than 2 years of experience
