Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • As an EKG Tech, you will help patients perform diagnostic electrocardiograms (EKGs) so they can assess cardiac function.
  • Every day you will prepare patients, explain procedures, and accurately operate EKG machines. You will be expected to record heart activity, perform computer-assisted EKGs, transfer data, edit EKG reports, apply/remove and scan holter monitors, process Tran telephonic Reports (assigning and evaluating results), and assist the MD/RN during patient diagnostic testing procedures.
  • To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, meticulous data collection, and excellent patient communication, contributing to accurate cardiac diagnostics.

Required

  • High School Graduate General Studies and 1-3 years One year healthcare experience, upon hire
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS), upon hire
