What You Do
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general repairs, routine maintenance, and light installations across HOA communities. This role requires a versatile, hands-on professional who can troubleshoot issues, complete work efficiently with professionalism on-site.
Requirements
  • Perform general maintenance and repair work across residential HOA communities
  • Complete work orders including, but not limited to:
  • Drywall repair and painting
  • Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, toilets, sinks)
  • Basic electrical work (outlets, switches, light fixtures)
  • Door, lock, and hardware repairs
  • Fence, gate, and railing repairs
  • Flooring repairs (vinyl, tile, minor carpet fixes)
  • Cabinetry, trim, and carpentry touch-ups
  • Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues before they escalate
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests and emergency calls as needed
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job status
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, property managers, and residents when appropriate
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow safety protocols, HOA rules, and company standards at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or facilities maintenance
  • Broad working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
  • Ability to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Comfortable working independently and managing daily assignments
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience working in HOA, condominium, or multi-family communities
  • Maintenance certifications or trade licenses
  • Familiarity with maintenance ticketing or work-order systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
