As a RN Infusion Therapy, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

As the RN in the Infusion Therapy Unit you will be an expert clinician who possesses advanced IV Infusion nursing care and has demonstrated strong critical thinking skills in the face of change, intervention, and crisis. You will be joining a team that is dedicated to serving others in need and also supporting each other.

In this important role you will:

• Provide all aspects of nursing care as they relate to outpatient infusion therapy and maintains accurate paper flow to ensure effective patient care as it relates to outpatient infusion therapy.

• Assess all patients who present requesting treatment through the use of the nursing process. Is responsible for providing up-to-date, timely, and comprehensive nursing care.
• Coordinate acute care and necessary follow-up with; other staff members, other departments, specialized physicians, the patient’s primary care physician, and all others as necessary.
• Act as a liaison for referring physicians of outpatient infusion therapy patients.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement programs by identifying, collecting, analyzing and documenting the results.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho or Compact RN License.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• ONS certification and ONS Chemotherapy status within one year of hire.
