Job description

Position Summary...The Asset Protection Area Manager is a collaborative safety leadership role focused on protecting the health and well-being of associates in a fulfillment center. This role partners closely with operations to build a strong safety culture through coaching, training, and engagement. The AP Area Manager uses data-driven insights to identify risks, improve processes, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is a people-focused leader who inspires safe work practices, promotes continuous improvement, and creates an environment where every associate can thrive safely. What you'll do...Are you passionate about helping others work safely and confidently every day? The Asset Protection Area Manager plays a key role in creating a safe and healthy workplace for all associates. You’ll collaborate with operations leaders and associates on your assigned shift to identify hazards, implement solutions, and build a culture where safety is part of everything we do.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with operations to integrate safety into daily processes, ensuring a consistent focus on associate health, safety, and well-being.
  • Coach, train, and develop hourly EHS associates by setting clear expectations, supporting growth, and recognizing performance.
  • Monitor and analyze safety data and trends to proactively identify risks and implement preventive measures.
  • Lead and participate in safety walks, audits, and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs that empower associates to recognize and prevent hazards.
  • Support company initiatives to promote environmental responsibility, regulatory compliance, and ergonomic improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to share best practices, celebrate success, and reinforce a culture of caring and accountability.

You’ll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If…
  • You’re passionate about associate health, safety, and well-being — and believe every incident is preventable.
  • You see yourself as a partner and coach, not a “security officer.”
  • You’re a great communicator who builds trust and influence with all levels of the organization.
  • You’re a proactive problem-solver who focuses on prevention and continuous improvement.
  • You use data to tell stories, guide decisions, and measure impact.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy leading through others.
  • You’re creative and resourceful — always looking for new ways to make safety engaging, meaningful, and effective.
