EHS Specialist Delhi New York (US) Quality & HSE 40+

As an EHS Specialist in our Delhi, New York manufacturing facility, you will play a pivotal role in producing high-quality ingredients that provide exceptional nutrition in various markets, including infant, sports, adult, and medical nutrition.

Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Manage EHS programs and protocols in alignment with local U.S. laws and regulations.
  • Compliance Management: Assess and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation, as well as certification standards.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and evaluate hazards/risks, and educate others on changes/new regulations.
  • Documentation Coordination: Manage EHS programs/systems, identifying hazards/risks, and implementing corrective solutions.
  • Communicate policies and solutions in an engaging manner, continually developing knowledge and insights into EHS matters.
  • Proactively search for opportunities to enhance EHS compliance and contribute to the overall safety culture.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Occupational Health/Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years EHS experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in Dairy, Food, Ingredients, or Pharma.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of unit operations (filtration/drying/evaporating), GMPs, Project Management, Waste Water, Clean Air Act, OSHA, Chemicals, and solid waste.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Core Competencies: Results-oriented problem solver, strategic thinker, persuasive communicator, team player, and driven towards achieving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
