Job Summary
The Senior EHR Applications Analyst provides advanced technical support for the implementation and maintenance of the electronic health record (EHR) system. This role impacts the proper utilization of the EHR across the institution by serving as an expert resource, coordinating applications, and ensuring workflows and system functionality align with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as expert resource and provide oversight in the coordination of assigned EHR applications
  2. Review software, analyze business operations, and collaborate with subject matter experts to tailor EHR systems
  3. Perform workflow analysis, data collection, and reporting to optimize system use
  4. Ensure implementation of key decisions across applications
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures for EHR utilization
  6. Facilitate resolution of complex technical and workflow issues
  7. Participate in reviews of software requirements, design, and code
  8. Support system performance to ensure compliance with technical, system, and quality standards

Required Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree required (may substitute with equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis)
  2. Epic HB Coding Certification required
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Epic HB Coding workflows, software/domain analysis, design, programming, project management, or EHR application supp ort

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Epic Resolute HB Certification preferred
  2. Advanced experience in healthcare IT environments with complex EHR syst ems
