Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install electrical systems for commercial construction projects
  • Run conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) and pull wire according to plans and specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Install panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and other electrical components
  • Perform layout and planning for electrical runs and installations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction phases
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and project specifications
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
  • Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on-site
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
  • Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, and system installation
  • Understanding of NEC codes and safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable with strong work ethic and attendance
Education and Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or equivalent field experience)
