Job Title: Long Term Substitute - Young Fives (EduStaff)
Location: Hunter Elementary School
Current Wage: $150/day (for long term assignments)
Expected Time Frame: September 2026 - December 2026 (approximately 12 weeks; dates subject to change)
Reports to: Building Principal
Qualifications:
  • 60+ college credits required
  • Valid and Current Michigan Teacher Certificate preferred
  • Previous teacher or guest teaching experience preferred

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, implement and document high quality instruction, assessments, and interventions to meet the needs of all students
  • Honor and carry out district initiatives and curriculum
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration
  • Participate in a Professional Learning Community setting by collaborating regularly with team of teachers, special area teachers, and special education teachers
  • Integrate technology effectively in a variety of forms on a daily basis as appropriate
  • Maintain consistent attendance and report to work on time as expected
  • Attend all meetings required for this position
  • Complete assigned tasks, reports, and other requirements on time

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk over extended periods of time in a work day
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time in a work day, and to sit/stand several times in short periods of time
