Work Schedule:ย Mon - Fri, 30 hours per week, Student Contact Daysย 
Start Date:ย Fall 2026
Pay: $23.34 per hour

Required Qualifications:









  • A high school diploma or GED and one of the following:
    • An AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, or
    • Two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution of higher education which are applicable toward a bachelors degree, or
    • Passing score of 460 (or higher) on the ParaPro Assessment.ย  (For more information on the ParaPro Assessment, contact Educational Testing Service at 1-800-772-9476 or www.ets.org/parapro)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in Education)
  • Prior education assistant/paraprofessional or teaching experience


Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with reading and math skills by use of oral reading, flash cards, conducting tests, and related instructional reinforcement activities
  • Conduct tests and informal quizzes to assess students' mastering of material taught
  • Assist in maintaining test records, preparing progress reports, and monitoring student progression
  • Prepare and copy worksheets and learning materials
  • Organize students' work/records for parent-teacher conferences
  • Work with students on skills assigned by the classroom teacher
  • Attend and participate in planning sessions with Intervention teaching staff
  • Other relatedย duties as assigned
