Job description

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Teacher in Special Education. This full-time position involves working with students who have diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities, to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of special education practices, be skilled in creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and social interaction.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through formal and informal assessments, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Provide support and guidance to students in developing social skills and coping strategies.
