Job description

Fitness Concierge

Reports To: Director of Fitness and Sports Courts

Directly Manages: No One

Position Type: Part Time

Essential Position Functions:

  • Greet members and guests to the Fitness Center or Performance Center warmly and pleasantly and oversee the coordination of all member and guest requests and issues/complaints in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with facility operations, including front desk responsibilities, point of sale transactions, and membership registrations.
  • Assist in designing and implementing health promotion, wellness, and educational programming.
  • Supervise and monitor exercise participants.
  • Assist with Members services at the pools, including cleaning and general upkeep of facility area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational Experiences and Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1-year experience in a related field (fitness/wellness). Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or relevant preferred.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
  • An outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
  • Superior customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be in excellent physical condition and perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting, and grasping for extended periods of time.
