Responsibilities

  • Provides technical and operational support to QA Technicians while participating in daily sample evaluation
  • Ensure QA technicians are properly trained, and their documentation is complete and accurate
  • Assist in reviewing Food Safety Management System procedures, standards and policies to ensure adherence to local, state and federal laws and codes governing Food Safety
  • Plays a key role within operations to ensure food safety and security plans are effectively implemented
  • Ensure compliance with Food Defense program and it’s components
  • Responsible for the implementation of employee training (includes management and hourly employees)
  • Assist QA Manager with compliance regarding company Internal Auditing program
  • Assist Food Safety System Supervisor & other Technical Service Supervisors as needed
  • Supports and maintains the HAACP program as a HAACP team member
