Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nursing Program Manager RN to provide leadership and coordination for our Stroke Program. This role is an exciting opportunity to support a growing program, including the expansion of thrombectomy services, while helping ensure high-quality outcomes and continued program excellence.
The Nursing Program Manager RN will be responsible for overseeing program metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvement, coordinating program initiatives, and supporting readiness for regulatory and accreditation surveys, including The Joint Commission.
This is a primarily program management and data-focused role rather than a highly patient-facing position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data, utilizing Epic and Microsoft Office, developing presentations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and communicating program performance and opportunities for improvement.
This position offers a highly flexible Monday-Friday schedule, generally 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with no call requirement. The role will also include required system meetings, off-campus meetings, professional conferences, and other program-related events.
Key ResponsibilitiesStroke Program Management
- Provide leadership and coordination for the Stroke Program to support high-quality patient outcomes and program growth.
- Monitor and track approximately 600 stroke patients annually and maintain accurate program data and metrics.
- Analyze program performance and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement initiatives that support stroke care quality, patient outcomes, and program goals.
- Support the continued expansion and development of thrombectomy services.
Data & Performance Improvement
- Collect, maintain, analyze, and report program data and performance metrics.
- Utilize Epic and Microsoft Office tools to manage data, develop reports, and create presentations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement based on program data and clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement improvement strategies.
- Monitor progress toward program goals and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
Regulatory & Accreditation Support
- Prepare for and support Stroke Program surveys and accreditation activities, including The Joint Commission.
- Maintain program documentation, data, and supporting materials required for regulatory and accreditation review.
- Coordinate with clinical departments and leadership to ensure ongoing readiness.
- Participate in audits, reviews, and quality improvement activities related to stroke care.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a program resource and collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinical leaders, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Facilitate meetings and communicate program updates, metrics, goals, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across departments and throughout the health system.
- Participate in system meetings, committees, professional organizations, conferences, and other activities related to stroke program development.
- Represent the Stroke Program at internal and external meetings as appropriate.
Education & Program Development
- Support educational initiatives related to stroke care, program processes, and quality improvement.
- Develop presentations and educational materials for staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications
