The Difference You Will Make:
The Staff Program Manager, Technical Education will play a key role in executing various technical learning programs including our Engineering Education programs that currently focus on AI Education, and other engineering and data education programming. Our focus is on impact and experimentation, creating world-class programs that enable technical excellence. We're employing best practices from learning science and using measurement to iterate on learning experiences. The ideal candidate is confident in their ability to develop scalable learning experiences that drive overall growth and development for our technical audience. We are looking for someone who has the ability to synthesize a range of concepts into unified experiences, stay up to date in a rapidly shifting technical ecosystem, establish systems and processes, and deliver top notch program management.
A Typical Day:
  • Collaborate on and develop program strategy for various technical programs, including AI Enablement, AI Education, Machine Learning Education, Data Education, Engineering Education with internal SMEs and other Technical Learning & Development team members
  • Design, create content, and project manage in-person and virtual technical learning events/forums for the Technology organization focusing on unique needs and business objectives
  • Develop and execute program strategies for technical learning experiences and forums, both asynchronous and synchronous
  • Build a community and foster connection across the technical organization through development of in-person and virtual technical learning events/forums, executive stakeholder management, and through recruiting, training, and supporting internal, professional contributors and SMEs
  • Coordinate in-person and virtual logistics for learning and events, coordinating course enrollment and materials
  • Measure, track and analyze the effectiveness of initiatives and programming using data to drive decisions and experimentation
  • Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders across multiple groups and geographies
  • Partner with stakeholders, SMEs, senior leaders and external speakers, vendors and consultants
  • Contribute to operational excellence by optimizing, identifying and recommending methods to streamline processes, tools, templates and scale communication channels
  • Develop project plans, robust documentation, and communication plans as part of exceptional program management
  • Create training materials, slide decks, job aids, and other assets

Your Expertise:
  • 8+ years of experience guiding strategy and execution in a Technical L&D program or learning content management role
  • Direct prior experience in a technical field (e.g., software engineering, data science, or related roles), enabling a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by technical learners
  • Strong understanding of Technology and Engineering organizations and how they operate
  • Experience building and curating technical content for an engineering or technical audience
  • Experience with AI as an agent for developer productivity and knowledge of AI enablement for product development
  • Expertise in instructional design and content design best practices
  • Success building and implementing programs, processes, and operational plans
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several programs and initiatives at once, executing against a broad roadmap
  • Data-driven approach to evaluating and measuring learning experiences
  • Produces clear, comprehensive, and well-structured documentation that enables knowledge sharing and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Consultative and collaborative skills, comfort partnering with stakeholders, SMEs, senior leaders and external partners
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience marketing and branding learning initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, with an ability to adapt content and conversations to meet the target audience
  • Demonstrated ability to apply graphic and visual design principles to learning materials, crafting engaging, visually compelling content such as presentations, job aids, and digital resources
  • Proficiency using presentation technologies, Google apps, and spreadsheets

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
