ZED Special Education Coordinatorย 

Position Type:ย Administrative (1.0FTE)ย 

Location:ย Byron (Byron Public Schools)ย 

Workday/Year:ย Monday-Friday 7:30-3:30pmย 

Duty Days:ย 200 (approximately)ย 

Starting Date:ย August 2026ย

About Zumbro Education District (ZED):ย ZED is an education district serving six member districts: Triton, Kasson-Mantorville, Stewartville, Byron, Hayfield, and Blooming Prairie. ZED offers a wide array of general education and special education services to our member districts (please refer toย www.zumbroed.orgย for details).ย 

Job Summary:ย Coordinate all the special education services and programming for Byron Public Schools, which includes (but is not limited to) ensuring all due process regulations are followed, designing effective/efficient special education programs, managing special education staff, fostering positive relationships with district staff/families, and attending necessary IEP/district/administrative meetings as needed.ย 

Required Qualifications:ย Possess at least 5 years of experience in a licensed special education setting and hold a valid Minnesota education license.ย 

Preferred Qualifications:ย Possess Director of Special Education licensure and special education administrative experienceย
