Preschool Special Education Teacher | Federal Way, WA | 2026-2027 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Preschool Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in Federal Way, Washington. We are a women- and therapist-founded company working to elevate the employment experience for school-based professionals. Job Highlights:
  • Location: Federal Way, WA

  • Position: Preschool Special Education Teacher (In-person)

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

  • School Year: 2026-2027

  • Setting: Preschool Special Education Program serving early learners ages 3-5

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Provide developmentally appropriate instruction that supports early learning, communication, social-emotional growth, and school readiness

  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary team members

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications:
  • Valid Washington State teaching certificate

  • Special Education endorsement required
