About the Position
The Manager of Special Education Programs provides leadership, professional development, and program management for assigned Special Education programs and staff supervision. Successful candidates will have expertise in evidence-based practices in assessment and instruction, program evaluation, and special education law.

This position begins the 2026-27 school year.
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in one (1) of the following fields: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field;
Three (3) or more years of work experience in a school setting in one (1) or more of the following fields: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field.
Licenses/Special Requirements:
Valid Washington State Principal or Administrator Certification (or provide proof of enrollment in the certification program within one (1) year of hire date).
2026-27 Manager Salary Schedule: Level III - $192,803 to $196,736 depending on education
