Job description

Jones Telepractice Agency is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers to support Washington  Elementary School District in Phoenix Arizona. We are looking for dedicated educators who are passionate about helping students with disabilities achieve academic and personal success.
 
We have a full-time Self-Contained Autism Teacher at the Cactus Wren Elementary School.
 
The hours are 7:30 am - 2:30 pm (M, T, Th, F)  and Wednesday  7:30 am - 1:00 pm
 
Job Responsibilities
 
* Provide specially designed instruction (SDI) to students with disabilities.
* Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
* Provide direct instruction in academic and functional skill areas.
* Modify and adapt curriculum based on student needs.
* Collect and maintain accurate student progress data.
* Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with parents, administrators, general education teachers, and related service providers.
* Support students in resource, inclusion, and specialized classroom settings.
* Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements.
 
Qualifications
 
* Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certificate required.
* Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
* Knowledge of IEP development, special education services, and instructional strategies.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams.
