We provide a welcoming and supportive environment where students can thrive.Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of students by offering:Individualized Support: Personalized plans with 1:1 guidance from teachers and counselors.Blended Learning: A mix of online and in-person instruction for a tailored learning experience.Multiple Learning Styles: Curriculum options aligned with Arizona State Standards to fit different ways students learn.Pathways In Education is looking for a Teacher with an Arizona Provisional or Standard Secondary Education, 6-12 Certificate in a core subject to work at the Glendale center.Our Ideal Candidate Will :Instruct students in multiple subjects, using various teaching methods, technologies, audiovisual aids and other materials.Prepare outlines for course of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of state and school.Assist pupils in selecting a course of study.Counsel students in adjustment and academic problems.Participate in various community groups or functions, faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops. Meet with students and parents to discuss student progress and problems.Participate in related activities, such as student organizations or committees.Administer tests to evaluate pupil progress, assess student work product and record results.Maintain attendance records, student files, and transcripts.Assist with State mandated student testing.Responsible for file maintenance in preparation for random, bi-monthly, and year-end audits.Assist in maintaining a clean, inviting, professional center for students to attend.Perform other administrative functions and duties assigned.Perform other administrative functions and duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Ability to teach and delegate responsibility to students.Educational technology, digital teaching, or online teaching and/or learning experience or education preferredAbility to work independently and efficiently, exercising reasonable judgment, in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with minimal supervision.Superior organizational and record keeping skills.Ability to synergize with field and corporate staff to implement the educational program.Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate problem solving skills, while maintaining courtesy, professionalism, and a customer service attitude.Strong interpersonal relationship skills.Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with students, parents, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.Working knowledge of MS Office and database management.Education and Experience:BA/BS DegreeArizona Provisional or Standard Secondary Education, 6-12 CertificateAdditional Information:Yearly Pay Range: $63,000-$71,500, depending on experienceHours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am-4pmBenefits and Perks:$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for full-time, credentialed Teachers.We offer a comprehensive benefits package to full-time staff that includes paid time off, holiday and sick time, medical, vision and dental coverage, incentives and an employer-matched 401k plan.PIE provides our staff opportunities to chaperone students on experiential learning trips to amazing places like Italy, Cuba and China as well as U.S. based trips to DC, a ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and a farm in Northern California.We regularly hold social functions to foster a genuine camaraderie that enhances teamwork.
