**This Opportunity** WSP is initiating a search for an experienced **Senior Transit Fare Policy Analyst** to contribute to the improvement of fare structures for transit systems. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on transportation systems and is available for both full-time and part-time positions. This position may be located in **Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA;** or other locations nationwide. Join us and help define the future of fare structures for transit systems. **Your Impact** + Lead the development of short- and medium-term fare policies and pilots, analyzing their potential impacts on ridership, revenue, and equity to demonstrate your expertise and influence. + Utilize and maintain complex travel demand and fare models (such as TransCAD or FARES) to forecast the effects of fare changes. + Work with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Customer Experience) and external stakeholders (partner agencies, community groups) to ensure coordinated policy design and implementation. + Serve as an expert on equity considerations, ensuring all fare policies and programs comply with regulations such as Title VI, and overseeing the development of reduced fare programs. + Collaborate with fare technology teams to align policy decisions with system capabilities and implement new fare collection technologies and business rules. **Who You Are** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University + 10+ years of experience in transit agencies, specialising in fare structure development, analysis, and optimisation to advance ridership, revenue, efficiency, and equity goals. + Ability to develop and refine comprehensive fare policies, programs, and pilot initiatives, including reduced-fare, low-income, student, senior, and accessibility-related programs. + Proficiency in transportation modeling software (e.g., VISUM, CUBE, TransCAD), GIS, and strong statistical analysis capabilities. + Expertise in evaluating fare policy alternatives, including dynamic pricing, distance-based or zone-based fare structures, pass programs, and promotional or pilot initiatives. + Direct experience conducting Title VI equity analyses to ensure all fare policy proposals and model outputs comply with federal requirements. **WSP Benefits** WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career.
