Led by a successful and experienced entrepreneurial team, RayzeBio aims to be the global leader in radiopharmaceuticals*.*The Medical Education & Operations Lead will serve as a senior leader within Medical Affairs, responsible for driving operational strategy, execution, and team effectiveness across the function. This role provides leadership and oversight for conference planning, annual medical planning, budget management, contract administration, review of sponsorships and grants, internal team training, Extended Medical Leadership Team operations, and other high-priority cross-functional initiatives. The position is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence and seamless execution of key medical affairs priorities. The role will report into the Head of Medical Capabilities.**Key Responsibilities****Medical Operations Leadership*** Lead the strategic planning and operational oversight of Medical Affairs activities, ensuring alignment across annual medical planning, execution priorities, and functional objectives.* Provide leadership for extended Medical Leadership Team and Department Hot Topics Meetings, including agenda planning, follow-up tracking, and coordination of key team initiatives.* Oversee internal medical team training and onboarding programs to strengthen team effectiveness, capability development, and operational consistency.* Direct oversight of core operational processes, including budget planning and tracking, contract management, and governance of sponsorship and grant review activities.* Lead cross-functional project management for key Medical Affairs initiatives, ensuring clear timelines, accountability, and effective execution across stakeholders.* Drive process excellence and continuous improvement across the function, including implementation of tools, systems, and scalable ways of working to enhance team performance.**Conference Planning & Team Oversight*** Lead team oversight for conference planning and execution, including pre-congress planning, onsite coordination, and post-congress follow-up.* Ensure effective coordination of medical meetings, events, and congress-related activities in partnership with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external organizers.* Establish clear processes and accountability for conference logistics, deliverables, and resource planning to ensure high-quality execution.**Budget, Contracts, Sponsorships & Grants*** Own and oversee the Medical Affairs budget, including planning, tracking, forecasting, and reconciliation in partnership with Finance.* Provide leadership for contract management processes across vendors, venues, and service providers, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and timely execution.* Review and oversee sponsorship and grant processes to ensure appropriate governance, alignment, and operational follow-through.* Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities across operational and financial processes, and implement improvements to strengthen execution and compliance.**Other Duties as Assigned*** Adapt to changing priorities; take on additional projects and responsibilities as needs evolve.**Qualifications & Experience*** Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.* Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or medical affairs environments.* Familiarity with event planning, logistics, and operational support highly desirable.* Strong budget management, contract administration, and vendor coordination skills.* Proven experience managing SharePoint or similar digital collaboration platforms.* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.* Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities, with flexibility to travel as required for congress support.* Team-oriented with a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and customer service focus.* Leverages AI to drive program, portfolio, or functional performance through prioritization and scaled adoption*If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
