Summary Provide Education Support Services required by Headquarters (HQ) Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Army Continuing Education System (ACES) in education offices at Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations as indicated in the requirement. Provide Army Continuing Education System - Education Support Services that supports Soldiers’ professional and personal growth through a continuum of education programs and services that range from academic and career guidance to enhancement of job performance and skill qualifications and includes assistance to ease the transition of Soldiers returning to civilian life. Services include counseling, credentialing/licensure, testing, instruction, technological and automation services and administration support services at Army Education Centers. Positions available in Hawaii, Alaska, Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Texas, New Mexico, North Carolina, Kentucky, Colorado, New York, Arizona, California, South Carolina, Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Virgina, Washington, Maryland, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey Active Army Bases. Job Description * Assist clients with locating and enrolling in military programs and courses of instruction (both local and online), * including military correspondence courses. * Assist clients with locating resources in support of academic programs, MOS training, professional military education and other training needs. * Assist with maintaining reference materials and study guides. * Greet clients in a clear and professional manner, and enter participation data into the ArmyIgnitED or other approved * automated system. * Assist clients with scheduling and use of training aids and equipment * Catalog and assist in administration of equipment/supplies * Arrange materials, monitor supply usage and needs, classroom equipment, and computers * Identify and assist in correcting safety issues * Assist in maintaining a secure environment and assist with Random Access Measures (RAM) * Support special events as directed by ESO (i.e. college fairs, graduations, etc.) * Maintain and replenish literature/literature rack, publications * Assist Soldiers with required military training * Assist ESO, ESS, and Guidance Counselors Qualifications: The knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform these services/tasks include * Customer service skills, facility operations * Knowledge of U.S. post-secondary education and soldier training and development programs * Must be knowledgeable about Military Occupational Specialties (MOS), curriculum and instruction for education and training programs, and utilization of various types of occupational information and professional military training. * Familiarity with the Army Publication System, the Enlisted Personnel Management System, the Distributed Leaders Course (https://learn.atis.army.mil/moodle/) * Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs and web-based applications * Minimum of one (1) year of experience relevant to the position * A favorable NACI investigation is required.
