CONTINUING EDUCATION - INSTRUCTOR (PART TIME)
TRUMAN COLLEGE 

Consider joining Truman College's Continuing Education Department as a Part-Time instructor. We are looking for dedicated and personable instructors, who want to teach to students of all ages and share their real-world experiences with a classroom of eager learners. 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

       Develop curriculum and weekly lesson plans that are age and experience appropriate.

       Deliver classes in-person onsite and remotely

       Ability to teach using different methods to meet students' needs and abilities.

       Inspire, motivate and foster confidence in all students.

       Adhere to the City Colleges of Chicago code of ethics, board rules, policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

       Bachelor's degree preferred

       Three years teaching and/or training experience.

       Degree or certification in preferred teaching area.

       Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse group of students and staff.

       Inspire, motivate and foster confidence in all students.
