Job description

Explore a rewarding opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in an onsite school setting near Kent, WA. This contract position offers both full-time and part-time openings throughout the full school year. Contribute your expertise and passion for education in any of these available roles:

  • Elementary Resource Teacher (1.0 FTE, 37.5 hours/week)
  • Junior High Resource Teacher (1.0 FTE, 37.5 hours/week)
  • Junior High Support Center Teacher (1.0 FTE, 37.5 hours/week)
  • Elementary Resource Teacher (0.8 FTE, 30 hours/week)

These positions are strictly onsite, ensuring direct engagement and meaningful impact in the classroom environment.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current state certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
  • Experience teaching in resource or support center settings at the elementary or junior high level is a plus
