Site Lead – Part-Time Education Center

Rancho Cucamonga, Diamond Bar, Chino, Claremont, Fontana CA I | $18/hour | Monday – Thursday 1-7 and Saturday 9-1pm

Join the team at Sylvan Learning of Grandville, where we help students strengthen their skills in math, reading, writing, study skills, and college prep. We’re looking for a reliable, organized Site Lead who enjoys working with students, families, and teachers while helping keep our center running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, education-focused environment and enjoys supporting both students and staff.


Position Overview

The Site Lead works closely with the Director and instructional team to ensure the center is fully prepared for daily instruction. This position requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.

You’ll help manage daily operations, assist families with scheduling, and ensure instructors and students have everything they need for a successful learning experience.


Responsibilities

The Site Lead will assist with the day-to-day operations of the center, including:

  • Printing and reviewing the daily schedule
  • Ensuring classroom supplies are stocked (pencils, tokens, whiteboards, manipulatives, etc.)
  • Confirming instructors are present and prepared with materials
  • Greeting students and families and ensuring sessions start on time
  • Updating transition-time activities as needed
  • Serving as a point of contact between parents and the Center Director
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments and enrollment conferences
  • Collecting payments and required forms as needed
  • Maintaining an organized, welcoming learning environment
  • Following closing procedures (locking doors, turning off lights, etc.)
  • Proctoring student assessments when needed
  • Teaching sessions when needed, as determined by the Director

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

Experience in education, tutoring, childcare, or customer service is a plus but not required.
