We are a fast paced, quickly expanding Family Medical Practice looking for a kind, compassionate, intelligent and efficient Physician Assistant to join our team where they would assist with diagnosing and treating health conditions while promoting good health practices. As a provider with Family First Health clinic, you'll be a part of a team that strives to provide the best patient care possible. At Family First Health Clinic, we believe in providing quality care to the community. The job description includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients' health. You will be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead happy, health lives. Clinical experience in primary care is preferred. As a Physician Assistant, you'll work closely with other healthcare professionals in supporting, educating and creating a team spirit with a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving and communication skills are important. Experience with Athena EMR is preferred but not required. Virtual scribe services utilized. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Examine patients and their medical records, Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, EKG, etc.), Diagnose health conditions and illnesses, Propose treatments for acute and chronic diseases in both adults and pediatric populations, Prescribe medications, Maintain accurate medical records and schedules, Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications, Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention, Oversee patients' overall health, Promote good health practices, Advance professional knowledge and conduct research. Skills will include but not limited to the following: Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting, Expertise in primary care, acute chronic are practices of both adult and pediatric populations, Knowledge of health and patient care regulations, Excellent communication skills, Strong ethics, Team spirit with a positive attitude.
