Job description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a foundational role in our Nursing Education division, focused on driving new business opportunities for our instructional and assessment programs.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a passion for education and measurable student success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Outreach
  • Targeted Outbound Prospecting: Conduct strategic research to identify and target high-potential campuses
  • Multi-Channel Communication: Execute personalized, high-volume outreach campaigns using phone calls, email, and LinkedIn to schedule introductory meetings for the Account Executive team.
  • Value Proposition Articulation: Clearly and concisely communicate the measurable impact of UWorld's solutions on student achievement.

2. Lead Qualification and Nurturing
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough qualifying calls to understand a prospect's current challenges, budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT).
  • Content Strategy: Partner with Marketing to utilize case studies, white papers, and webinars, nurturing leads until they are sales-qualified opportunities.

3. CRM Management and Reporting
  • Data Integrity: Meticulously track all sales activities, prospect interactions, and lead status updates in the CRM (Salesforce) to ensure accurate reporting and pipeline forecasting.
  • Performance Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for calls, emails, qualified leads (SQLs), and set meetings

Required
  • 1+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a high-volume outbound calling environment, preferably in the B2B SaaS or Education Technology (EdTech) sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
