Job description
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Director of Sales to expand JoVE's footprint in the
K12 education market and lead us toward our first $1M milestone. The ideal candidate has
proven experience growing sales in startup or high-growth environments, and a strong track
record of selling and marketing solutions to schools, districts, and other K12 stakeholders.
Responsibilities
? Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for JoVE's K12 Edtech solutions, driving
revenue growth and achieving our first $1M milestone.
? Build and manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting through closing,
including managing a pipeline of school and district-level opportunities.
? Lead a high-performing K12 Sales and Marketing team (12 people at this time), setting
clear KPIs and tracking performance to ensure consistent achievement of revenue
goals.
? Oversee marketing efforts to deliver impactful campaigns, messaging, and webinars that
drive JoVE awareness and engagement with K12 decision-makers.
? Stay ahead of market trends, and competitor offerings in K12 education to ensure our
positioning is differentiated and compelling.
? Establish and lead the customer support and post-sale operations team to facilitate product
integrations.
Requirements
? A Bachelor's degree
? 8+ years of proven sales experience in the K12 Edtech market, with at least 5 years in a
sales leadership role.
? Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving significant revenue growth in a
startup or high-growth environment.
? Deep understanding of K12 customer needs, decision-making processes, and
procurement cycles.
? Entrepreneurial mindset with strong hands-on leadership skills
? Self-motivated, performance-driven, and adaptable to fast-paced, evolving environments.
? Strong experience using systems like Salesforce and HubSpot.
