Job description
Adobe is seeking a Senior Director, Product Marketing - Education Institutions to lead the B2B Education business strategy and growth. This entails delivering the 3-year strategic plan, compelling value proposition, messaging, and positioning globally, pricing and offering strategy, and geographic growth plans. This leader will define and develop plans that span the entire portfolio of Adobe creativity and productivity tools with the goal of elevating Adobe's presence in HED and K-12! They will uncover new growth opportunities through deep customer and market insight, shaping how Adobe delivers value to students, faculty, administrators, and IT leaders.
This role calls for a forward-looking visionary with a practitioner approach, the ability to influence stakeholders, experience with education institutions who can inspire high-performing teams to drive outcomes. Partnering across Adobe's business units and product groups will be critical for success!
What you'll doLead a world-class product marketing team, setting strategy and raising the bar on messaging, storytelling, and market impact.
Define and evolve differentiated value propositions, messaging, and positioning for the higher education market.
Translate customer insights and market research into clear narratives and education-specific use cases.
Identify new growth opportunities through market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies (including AI). This could include new offerings, new pricing, product and distribution partnerships, new geographies, etc.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and GTM teams to ensure messaging is effectively brought to market.
Develop high-impact content (presentations, white papers, case studies) that clearly communicate customer value.
15+ years of experience in product marketing, strategy, or related roles within enterprise software/SaaS, IT, or EdTech.
Deep expertise in messaging, positioning, and value-based storytelling, with a track record of influencing how products are understood and adopted in the market.
Strong understanding of the education landscape, including institutional priorities, customer groups (faculty, IT, administration), and decision-making dynamics.
Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into differentiated strategy, driving clarity in value propositions and identifying new growth opportunities.
Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments, influencing Product, Sales, and Marketing without direct ownership of GTM execution.
Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams. Committed to raising the quality and impact of product marketing. Has in-depth knowledge of Enterprise and Channel marketing challenges and strategies.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and prioritization.
Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $182,500 -- $389,650 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $250,600 - $389,650At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
